Sunday, April 5, will be the last day of operation for Greyhawk #7, Seattle Ridge #12, Mayday #14 and Cold Springs #4 on Baldy. Seattle Ridge Restaurant also will close.

Dollar Mountain will remain open through Easter Sunday weather and conditions permitting.

Just a suggestion……as a goodwill gesture to the out-of-work due to the faltering economy, please consider re-opening sale of early-late passes.

Is #11 Lookout lift closing tomorrow? Does this mean If i ski down to river run lodge I have to take the bus back to Warm Springs?

#11 “Lookout” is the lift chair located at the very top of Baldy, old 3-seater – the one we call “a chair to nowhere”, running over the bowls. You might have confused it with #5 “Lookout Express” hi-speed quad, that one will continue to operate until closing day. You can ski down on either side just fine.
You can get to the top from River Run (#1 “River Run Express” and then #5 “Lookout Express”) and Warm Springs (#10 “Challenger”).

Update: here’s a picture from today’s last ride, this is what I meant by calling the #11 Lookout lift “Chair to Nowhere” ;)
