There are three women in our group departing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on March 27, 2009 for 6 to 8 days skiing in Sun Valley, leaving on April 04,2009. Please email me any special ski & lodge packages available during that time frame. Also, any post ski activities in the evening and any restaurants that are highly recommended? Thanks.
Sorry for the delayed response.
Sun Valley Resort’s Spring Ski Package, offering incredible savings on lodging and skiing, is now available for booking.
The package begins March 28 and runs through the end of the ski season. For only $74 (per person double occupancy) guests can stay in a Sun Valley Resort hotel room and ski for one day. Also if you are a college student or faculty member, you can ski for only $30 a day with current college ID.
This package may be booked for multiple days. Single occupancy rate is $121 (tax not included).

As for entertainment, the weekend of 3/27 & 28 there will be a music festival in nearby Ketchum called SolFest. At Sun Valley, there is live Apres Ski Jazz in the Duchin Lounge performed by various artists. The Boiler Room features comedian Mike Murphy on Tues and Wed evenings, The Vuarnettes (singing, dancing, comedy) on Thursday and live music Friday & Saturday nights (TBD). We also have apres ski entertainment at both River Run & Warm Springs Lodges at the base of Bald Mountain daily. Currently we have happy hour specials at the Duchin, Lobby Lounge and Lodge Dining Room.
All of our restaurants are top notch. I would suggest the Ram and/or Trail Creek Cabin for dinner, you could take a moonlit sleigh ride to Trail Creek Cabin for dinner (Sleigh & dinner reservations 208-622-2235). The Sun Valley Club (& Nordic Center) is a great spot for lunch and don’t miss the famous Sunday Brunch in the Lodge Dining Room.
I hope this helps answer your questions.
