Could you provide me more info about events planned for this weekend such as: ice show, ski or snowboard (do you make snow for this event), or anything else that might be fun to do for 3 adults?

    Thank you,

P.S I will be in Sun Valley during that weekend and I would like to know what to expect and be prepared for it.

    Hi Roxana,
Sun Valley Resort has a Thanksgiving package that includes lift tickets, a room and a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner buffet. For more information call our reservations desk at 800-786-8259. There will be more 75th ski season events in December such as ice shows and rail jam exhibitions.

We never truly know what the weather will be like in November here. Snow-making is weather and temperature dependent. Most years at Thanksgiving we have some natural snow and make enough snow to have a couple lifts and runs open on Bald Mountain. There are lots of things to do at Sun Valley besides skiing. We have 2 heated pools, indoor virtual golf, a spa, a bowling alley, restaurants, a movie theater, shopping. Plus, depending on the weather, hiking, biking and even golf. I’d also suggest checking out the Sun Valley/Ketchum Chamber website for other local events.
