On Thursday, November 18 Smith Optics will host the debut screening of a documentary about one of their most internationally recognized Motocross, Supercross, Freestyle Moto and Auto Racing athletes, Travis Pastrana.
Pastrana’s accomplishments are what legends are made of. On fire since the age of 14, when he became the 1998 World Freestyle Champion, Pastrana has gone on to become one of the most successful competitors in the history of X Games Freestyle Motocross.
By the way, he also races cars and has won back- to-back championships in the Rally America Series.
I can’t say more, as to give away the film, so come to the Sun Valley Opera House on November 18 and see “199 Lives: The Travis Pastrana Story” and how the boy next door rose through the ranks and disciplines to become the action sports icon he is today. Travis Pastrana will also be at the Opera House to sign autographs, and I hear he is a very nice guy, so don’t miss your chance to meet him.
