Nordic Sweetheart Relay February 13

Bring your Valentine or find a new one at the Sun Valley Nordic Center on Sunday, February 13.
Race starts at 11am. Entry Fee is $10.

Races including 6x1km, partners alternate relay and must kiss to tag off!

What could be more romantic than an horse-drawn sleigh ride to dinner with your sweetie? Trail Creek Cabin will be open on Monday, February 14 from 5-10pm. For sleigh and dinner reservations please call the Sun Valley Recreation Center: (208) 622-2135

The Lodge Dining Room will also be open for an exquisite 4-course dinner from 6 – 9:30pm. Cost is $190 per couple and $37 per child age 12 & under. All other resort restaurants (except Roundhouse) will be open for business. Ladies who have dinner at The Ram and The Lodge Dining Room will receive a complimentary rose.

Lunar Eclipse Rail Jam Series continues Feb 19 & March 19.


Sun Valley Resort wants to show off the region’s best new Terrain Park with the 2011 Lunar Eclipse Rail Jam Series Saturday, February 5, February 19 and March 19. The overall winner of the three-date series will win a trip to Windells Camp in Mt. Hood, Oregon.

With bright spot lights, music, great food, beverages and a name like the Lunar Eclipse Rail Jam Series, this is sure to be an event not to be missed. Huge spotlights will light up the area and athletes can practice from 3-5pm with the contest running from 5-7pm. Great schwag prizes for the winners of each series, but only one person with the most points will win the trip to Windells Camp at the end of the series.
Participants can sign-up the day of the event at Dollar Mountain. Registration fee is $15.

Dollar Mountain’s Snow Park Technologies-designed Terrain Park has been packed all season. Dollar Mountain now boasts over 40 Terrain Park features including 15 progression park features, 10 medium features, 19 large features and a new cross-course, quickly making claim as one of the best parks in the Northwest.

Watch the Big Game at the Sun Valley Club February 6


What could be better than Nordic Skiing, Golf and Football at the same venue? The Sun Valley Club will be open late for the Big Game on Sunday, February 6. Six large flat screen TV’s, a full bar and our restaurant will remain open for the entire game.

Take a few laps on the Sun Valley Nordic Center trails or play a round of indoor virtual golf (must call 622-2251 for Tee Times) before the Big Game, then grab a table, dinner and drinks and watch all the exciting football action at the Sun Valley Club.
