Next week, Thursday, July 3, the walk will be led by local butterfly (and spider) expert and naturalist Ann Christensen, along with Jeanne Cassell, founder of the Sawtooth Botanical Garden’s Wildflower Walks. This is a nature discovery hike featuring (hopefully) butterflies and wildflowers currently planned for Taylor Canyon – noted as a 4-mile, easy hike but with a bit of a climb. Please bring your own picnic and wear comfortable walking shoes. Meet at the Garden at 9:30 am (or at the end of Lake Creek Road at 10:00 am) to carpool, and the outing is expected to last until 2 pm. To make a reservation for this FREE experience, call the Garden at 208.726.9358.
