Evening Dining at the Roundhouse

Join us at 7700 feet, mid-way up Bald Mountain, for a spectacular dinner experience. Sun Valley Resort inaugurates summer evening dining at the Roundhouse. Upscale, relaxed dining with casual elegance is offered, amid breathtaking views and nostalgic ambiance.
Also new for dinner services, Averell’s Bar will be open for our dinner guests as a lounge with full bar service. Parties will be sat at their reserved time, so please arrive early to meet up with your party and enjoy the views.

Lunch at The Roundhouse

Summer lunch at the Roundhouse is back! Enjoy full table service in our main dining room, Averell’s Bar, or on the deck hovering above the enormous summer views of Ketchum and the adjacent Pioneer mountains. Complete parties are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Large parties of 8 or more may make a reservation for table service by calling Restaurant Reservations at 208.622.2800.

The Deck Grill (weather permitting) offers burgers, sandwiches, brats and dogs for a casual self-service experience while enjoying the mountain views from the picnic tables. Beverages and snacks are also available. No large party reservations are accepted for the picnic tables at the Deck Grill.

Lunch is served daily June 24th through September 6th

The Roundhouse will open November 25 for a First Tracks Continental Breakfast at 8:30am, gourmet lunch and après ski wine, beer and light bar fare at Averell’s until 4:30pm daily.

Evening dining at the historic Roundhouse will make its debut for Sun Valley’s 75th winter season.
This new Sun Valley tradition will begin December 10 offering an upscale, casual dining experience, Thursday through Saturdays from 6 to 9pm.
Complimentary Roundhouse Gondola evening transportation will be reserved for dinner guests only.

As of Sunday, March 22, the Elkhorn lift, Half Dollar on Dollar Mountain and #11 Lookout lift on Baldy will close. This also will be the last day for the Roundhouse Restaurant.

Sunday, March 29 will be the last operating day for lift Exhibition #2 (ever – next year we’re having the new gondola run to Roundhouse instead!) and lift Sunnyside #6 – both will close at the end of that day.

Sunday, April 5, will be the last day of operation for Greyhawk #7, Seattle Ridge #12, Mayday #14 and Cold Springs #4 on Baldy. Seattle Ridge Restaurant also will close.

Dollar Mountain will remain open through Easter Sunday weather and conditions permitting.
