March Madness may be in full swing but Sun Valley is hosting their own National Championships this week. The 2010 USSA Alpine Masters Championships start off today on Baldy.
Sponsored by Racer’s Edge and hosted by Sun Valley Resort and the Sun Valley Ski Club, the National Championships have four events this year, Super G, Super Combined, GS and Slalom. More than 500 racers have gathered in Sun Valley, with the race action starting off today on Lower Warm Springs. The first race of the week-long event is today’s Super Combined on Warm Springs followed by a Welcome reception at the Sun Valley Inn.
Stop by Warm Springs throughout the week to see some of the nation’s best masters racers go for the gold. Check out the results here (http://ussa.org/magnoliaPublic/ussa/en/events/masters/major/nationals.html) as the week goes on.
