FreeRide Team program begins December 3rd, 2011

The Sun Valley Snowsports FreeRide Team provides non-competitive training for skiers and snowboarders. Designed for kids from 6 years through high school, this high quality, high-energy team, under the guidance of top free ride instructors, focuses on all-mountain, all-conditions development. The program includes Saturdays on Baldy and new this season, ’Sundays in the Park’ - terrain park and half pipe training along with non-competitive gate training.  Open to skiers and riders intermediate and above.  The Blaine County Student Pass is available for out-of-county students enrolled in FreeRide program. -DATES- Saturday & Sunday mornings starting December 3rd 2011 and running through March 18th 2012 (Excludes Dec 24, 25 & 31, Jan 1 and Feb 18 & 19) PRICING- (Pre-season pricing ends on November 23rd) One Day Saturday or Sunday Pre-season      $549.00 Two Day Pre-season                                            $849.00 One Day Saturday or Sunday Full Season      $580.00 Two Day Full Season                                           $895.00

"Her Turn" 2011 Women’s Clinics
Winter Session- Friday, Saturday & Sunday, February 4-6

Women Alpine skiers who want to take their technique to the next level should not miss this program.
We are pleased to announce the return of our "Her Turn" Women’s Clinic. This program is designed for women and taught by women. Our guest coach for the February Clinic will be Carol Levine, past National Alpine Team member, and current Rocky Mountain Examiner. Carol was the original organizer of the National Women’s Seminars, and pioneered the integration of women’s issues at the national level for many years. She created and hosted her own women’s program for the Vail Ski & Snowboard Schools called "Her Turn," as well as developing their successful "Focused Learning" ski immersion program. Currently a Masters Racer, Carol now works with the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen, and continues to work with women instructors.

Sun Valley SnowSports Her Turn clinics include five hours of on-snow instruction daily, a 5:1 instructor to student ratio, the latest in demo equipment rentals, daily lunch at River Run, video analysis, parties and goody bags.

The total cost for each Her Turn Clinic is $575.00 per 3-day session
Daily lift pass discounts available for participants.
Classes will meet daily at 8:30am inside River Run Lodge.

It’s never too late to improve your skiing! Right now Sun Valley SnowSports School is offering private one-on-one ski lessons for only $199. This includes 2 hours of private instruction and a ski demo package from Pete Lane’s Mountain Sports. Lessons are from 1-3pm or 2-4pm daily on Bald Mountain. One person per instructor. Her Turn Women’s Alpine Ski Clinic – March 5-7, 2010
Intermediate to expert women Alpine skiers who want to improve their ski technique, broaden their ski experience, and enjoy the camaraderie of other women while exploring Baldy, should not miss this program.
Women’s Clinic cost is $550 and includes:
-5 hours of on-snow instruction and lunch on Bald Mountain each day
-Video analysis
-Morning Yoga sessions
-Special Gate Training
-Apres Ski Party on the last day of class
-Gift Bags
-Personalized coaching and instruction from the nations top female ski instructors

Get whipped into shape at the SnowSports School Bump and Carving Clinics.  

Ski the Bumps on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and improve your carved turns on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  All classes are from 1:30-3:30.  Sign up and meet at River Run Lodge. Must have at least 2 people in your group per class. $65 per person.
