Roundhouse Restaurant open for dinner this winter

Baldy’s first restaurant situated on the River Run side of Bald Mountain about mid-way up is serviced by Sun Valley’s Roundhouse Gondola. Regardless of when you choose to wine or dine, this trip is sure to become one of your most memorable Sun Valley dining adventures. Foot traffic only tickets available at the River Run ticket office.

The Roundhouse will open November 25 for a First Tracks Continental Breakfast at 8:30am, gourmet lunch and après ski wine, beer and light bar fare at Averell’s until 4:30pm daily.

Evening dining at the historic Roundhouse will make its debut for Sun Valley’s 75th winter season.
This new Sun Valley tradition will begin December 10 offering an upscale, casual dining experience, Thursday through Saturdays from 6 to 9pm.
Complimentary Roundhouse Gondola evening transportation will be reserved for dinner guests only.

30th Annual Hawaiian Nationals Telemark Series Races April 10, 2010

Break out your costumes! The 2010 Hawaiian Nationals Telemark Race Series is Saturday, April 10 on Bald Mountain. Races on Cozy. Registration from 9-10:30am, Races start at 11am sharp! Meet on top at 3pm for the Telemark Parade and tele-gate party after the parade in the Warm Springs parking lot. BBQ, raffle, music and more. Races are for Telemark skiers and Snowboarders only.

Today’s video is mostly from an area of Bald Mountain which is closing tomorrow, Sunday April 5, 2009. Seattle Ridge slopes, restaurant and chairs #12 (Seattle Ridge), #14 (Mayday) and #4 (Cold Springs) are closing for the season at the end of the day so get out there and enjoy fine spring skiing!
